St. Martin’s Day
Just as in Germany, our school celebrated St. Martin’s Day on November 11, a heartwarming event dedicated to the compassionate saint, Martin.
Children light up the streets with handmade lanterns during colorful parades, embodying the values of kindness and generosity from the saint’s story.
Families gather, sharing traditional treats and creating lasting memories of community and togetherness.
We celebrated at the Turn Verein with music and hot chocolate. Our young students paraded their handmade lanterns around the block to traditional children’s music.
Thank you everyone for coming!
