The teaching of German, previously one of the major languages taught in schools and universities, is more and more only sustained by community-based weekly schools like ours. A 2023 report by the Modern Language Association of America found that enrollment in German classes in US institutions of higher education fell 33.6% from 2016 to 2021.  

Your donation will help us continue to offer in-person, hands-on German language classes and cultural programs in the greater Sacramento region.
