German Conversation Classes (1CN - 4CN)
There are no text books for these courses.  The instructor will furnish topics for discussion, mostly by email, prior to each class.

Please Note

We have books for the beginning, intermediate and advanced classes available for purchase.  The costs of the individual books in the Menschen series are as follows, Kursbuch is $17, Arbeitsbuch is $16, and Glossar is $16.  A set will cost $49. This set of three will be used for three classes. Books may also be purchased online at booksellers. The Aspekte textbook for our Advanced German class will cost $32.


Our texts and our course materials adhere to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Guidelines as well as to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and prepare students for an internationally recognized proficiency examination, which is available to take at the Goethe-Institut in San Francisco several times each year.
